A Doll’s House: Part 2
April 2, 2022 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Henrik Ibsen’s play, A Doll’s House stunned critics when it was produced in 1879. The play tells of Nora Helmer’s struggle to exist in a marriage she finds stifling. At the end of the play, in one of the most famous stage exits in history, she walks out the door to make her way in a world with no connection to her past.
In A Doll’s House Part 2 award winning playwright Lucas Hnath presumes to present us with a sequel to Ibsen’s classic. Fifteen years after she walked out the door leaving behind her husband and children Nora returns. But why? And what effect will it have on those she left behind.
