Having Our Say: The Delany Sisters' First 100 Years opens as 103-year-old Sarah (Sadie) Delany and 101-year-old Bessie Delany invite the audience into their Mount Vernon, NY home. This is the true story of the two sisters with Raleigh, NC roots and who lived through Reconstruction, experienced Jim Crow, the women's rights and civil rights movements and the Harlem Renaissance.
