Dramatic Reading Class for Seniors Beginning November 2
The 40+ Stage Company will be offering Dramatic Reading Classes this fall. These classes are open to adults who wish to become more comfortable and skilled at appearing on stage, at the podium, or participating in group discussions. No memorization is required. Beginner as well as experienced registrants are welcome. Classes will be conducted in studio style with participants reading monologues and participating in scene work with others.
The series of six two-hour workshops will be held on consecutive Thursday afternoons, beginning at 2:00 pm Thursday, November 2 at the Mary Alice Warren Community Center, Lewisville. Class size is limited to eight participants. Reserve your place or make further inquiry by emailing 40plusstagecompany@gmail.com. A $20.00 tuition fee will be charged (hardship assistance is available).
Workshops will be moderated by John J. Hohn, co-founder of 40 Plus Stage Company. Hohn is a seasoned professional seminar moderator and former director of the Wilson Learning Corporation video production studio. Hohn has extensive stage and TV credits, having appeared many times over the years with Little Theater, Winston-Salem Theater Alliance, and 40 Plus Stage Company.
